
Dr Keagan Werner-Gibbings
Dr Keagan Werner-Gibbings has recently returned from a one-year post-fellowship training position at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. At this world-leading Vascular Surgery institution, he was the Senior Clinical Fellow sub-specialising in complex aortic endografting and deep venous reconstructive surgery.
Dr Werner-Gibbings completed his MBBS with honours from the University of Sydney. He undertook his residency at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney before starting his Vascular Surgical training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He trained in leading hospitals in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
Dr Werner-Gibbings has a special interest in the management of all forms of venous disease including varicose veins, complex aortic pathology and diabetic foot disease.
Dr Werner-Gibbings has a strong interest in research and is widely published in international journals. He has a particular interest in health economics. In addition to his primary medical degree, he has a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney.
He operates publicly at Nepean Hospital and privately at Macquarie University Hospital, the Mater Hospital North Sydney and collaboratively with Dr Robert Tang at Strathfield Private Hospital.
